THE DIAPER DERBY

The 2024 Lee Regional Fair Diaper Derby will take place at 2:00pm on Sunday September 15. The Derby is open to participants 10 months or younger and not walking. Only one individual will be admitted into the fair free of charge with a child participating in this event.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be presented by Lee County Extension and Community Association, Lee County Partnership for Children and the Sanford Lions Club. The Lions Club will provide winning ribbons, with all participants receiving a ribbon of participation.

THE CREATIVE DIAPER CONTEST

Show off your creativity by designing a creative diaper!

This contest is open to infants 24 months and younger, and there are 2 Categories: Individual and Group (2 or more). Registration for this contest is 30 minutes prior to the Diaper Derby.

Contestants must be presented in a decorated disposable or cloth diaper. A costume that coordinates with the diaper design may be used. The diaper must be visible for judging. One adult assistant is allowed on stage with each child contestant.

Judging for the “Most Creative Diaper” will be based on originality of design, creativity, public appeal and overall effect. Only a 1st-place award will be given for “Most Creative Diaper” in each Category.
