           I would like to invite you to attend the
                       2026 Lee Regional Fair
                 This year the theme of the Fair is to join all of America in celebrating the
                              250th Anniversary of our Declaration of Independence.

The Lee Regional affair is the largest family-oriented event in the Lee County area. It is a great place to visit with your friends and neighbors. The Fair will have our usual exciting rides provided by Big Rock Amusements. There will be rides for the young and the young-at-heart of all ages. Rides include the good old standbys and some new ones showing up for their first time this year. We will have magic shows and entertainment to include the Time Travelers Magic show and Ember Fire Arts. There will be bands of every variety: pop, gospel, country, and Latin. But the Fair is more than just rides.

We have many historical displays including a sawmill, a gristmill, a blacksmith shop, a working tobacco barn and many antique farm tractors and farm equipment. These are operated and displayed by our partners, Central Carolina Antique and Power Equipment (C-CAPE), and their club members. If you get a little tired, sit a spell at the country store and listen to the local musicians. NEW this year we will have a tractor pull contest powered by children on pedal tractors. That'll be something to see!

The Lions Kitchen will be ready to provide great tasting hamburgers and hotdogs and other fair food to complement our food vendors. Snacks, treats and beverages will be available just steps away at the Ag Exhibit Hall concession stand.

As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we join fairs nationwide in proudly highlighting our rich agricultural heritage. We invite you to join the celebration, honor our farmers, and—most importantly—have fun! Discover their evolving way of life through our vibrant livestock shows featuring cattle, goats, and poultry, alongside fully stocked barn exhibits and live demonstrations. Dive into the excitement with numerous contests, pageants, cooking competitions, and arts and crafts displays. You can also step back in time at our operational tobacco barn to witness traditional looping and tying demonstrations. 

Parking at the fair is free. Admission is five dollars except on Friday and Saturday when it's eight dollars at the gate. But advance tickets are only five dollars with children under 36 inches tall getting in free. On Sunday you can even get in just by donating three nonperishable food items.

The Lee Regional Fair, operated by the Sanford Lions Club, use all profits generated from the Fair to help support the visually impaired and to aid many local charities. These include the Boys' and Girls' home at Lake Waccamaw, Camp Dogwood, CUOC, Salvation Army, Toys For Tots, the Vision Van, Helping Hands Clinic, Haven, Sanford Area Soccer League, VIP Fishing Tournament, Christmas Cheer Donations, Vision Screening for local schools, and of course maintaining the Fairgrounds for future events.

Come visit, with your friends and neighbors, September 16 thru 20, and you'll have the Best Time of The Year!
