A North Carolina native, Amber Kornegay has master the art of performing with fire. Self-taught with the exception of fire eating, 

safety is always number one to Amber in training and performing.

In this show you will see Amber work through a variety of fire props, fire eating, fire hooping and much more all the while sharing her story of becoming a fire performer and how she got to where she is today.

Have You Ever Handled Tobacco

The Lee Regional Fair is one of 4 Fairs in NC that has an actual working tobacco barn. You can learn to loop, tie, and hang tobacco in the Barn to cure. Experience tobacco workers are on hand to show you how. it was "done back in the day".  You can even compete in the Tobacco Tying and Looping Contests.

Diaper Derby Contest

What a GREAT event for children 10 months and younger who are not yet walking. Come cheer on your favorite "racer" cross the finish line. Be sure to also watch the parents a they become a part of the action!  This is a generational event often with the children and grandchildren of former participants racing.

The Diaper Derby is sponsored by the Lee County Partnership for Children and Families and their The Happy Bottoms Bank program.
