Fair Contests

The Lee Regional Fair offers a variety of contests throughout the week for those who like to get competitive.

In the area of agriculture, contests include the 4-H Goat, Cattle & Poultry Competitions. For those who remember "working in tobacco," we have Tobacco Looping and Tying contests. Seasoned tobacco workers will be on hand to teach participants how to loop or tie tobacco for those who want to learn more about North Carolina's historic cash crop.

Along with all the exhibits you can enter, we will have Lego, Poetry, Essay, Diaper Derby and Scavenger Hunt competitions.

NEW THIS YEAR... an All-American Wreath Contest, a special 250^th Anniversary competition for youth in grades 6-8, grades 9-12 and adults. These special wreaths will be on display throughout the week in the Commercial Hall.

Another NEW event will be a Pedal Tractor Pull contest for ages 4-11. Our partner, C-Cape, will be hosting the contest for the first time, and we hope this will become an annual event.
